INGREDIENTS
- Marinara Lentil Soup Stir-ins
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil
- ½ cup Cooked garbanzo beans
- ½ cup marinara sauce
- ½ zucchini chopped
- Very Best Lentil Soup
- 1/4 teaspoons fresh herbs of your choice Rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano...
- 1/4 celery stalks
- 1/4 carrots
- 1/4 Cloves garlic
- 1/2 cups kale chopped
- 1/4 yellow onion
- 1/2 cups Red Lentils
- 1 1/2 cups Vegetable Broth
- 1 1/4 cups water
INSTRUCTIONS
Very Best Lentil Soup
- 1. Heat a pan to medium high heat.
- 2. Chop all vegetables.
- 3. Water sauté celery, carrots, garlic and onion for 2-3 minutes.
- 4. Add herbs and chopped kale.
- 5. And simmer for 2-3 more minutes.
- 6. Pour in lentils, vegetable broth and simmer for 25 minutes or until lentils are tender. Serve hot and freeze or refrigerate the remaining soup.
