INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Water saute cranberries over medium heat until the berries start to pop open
  2. In a microwave-safe dish, heat dates and 1/2 cup water on high for one minute. Drain water from heated dates.
  3. Into a blender cup add some orange zest, all the orange juice (squeezed from the orange), heated dates, water, and arrowroot and blend until very smooth.
  4. Once the berries have popped a bit stir in the orange and water sauce from the blender.
  5. Cook over low heat while stirring continually for 3 minutes or until it becomes thickened. For a smoother cranberry sauce, return to blender and pulse a few times.
  6. Cool and serve with your holiday feast or with toast.
